Tenants and Residents Association
Welcome to all our tenants and residents of the Beanfield Estate and particularly those of you who regularly attend our meetings. These take place in the Community Centre on the last Wednesday of the month starting at 7.30pm.
Although we are usually well attended we could still do with more bums on seats! Do you have a problem to be aired, are you tired of hooliganism and graffiti? Do you moan about the lack of Police presence in the area, or want something done regarding more off-road parking? All such similar things are raised from time to time, so why not add your two-penny worth! Currently, we are opposing to the intended fortnightly refuse collection and are making our voices heard through FORTAC, our parent body.
Our meetings are regularly attended by Borough and County Councillors; representatives of the Police and Council staff who update us on what is going on with the regeneration etc. On a regular basis one or more of our number go 'walkabout' with the Housing Officer responsible for the area. We note down issues of concern and items needing attention e.g. vandalism, damaged road signs, the state of pavements, churned up grass verges and many other things. If you could spare an hour or so once in a while to help in this respect, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Don't forget Corby Borough Councillor's Surgeries are held prior to the meetings at the Community Centre.
Furthermore, the Council will now pick up your bulky rubbish free of charge -
please use this facility.
